Council is the Trustee of Morgan Park, a major sports and recreation facility situated on Old Stanthorpe Road only few minutes from Warwick town centre.
Warwick is known as the Horsepower Capital of Australia, and Morgan Park is home for a range of events including horse trials (equestrian), polocrosse, dirt bikes, drag racing, circuit racing and equine driving. Morgan Park hosts an event nearly every weekend, and can be accessed at any time of the day. Entry to specific sporting venues is subject to event opening times.
Morgan Park has become well known for it's international events, including the inaugural Polocrosse World Cup, Horse Trials World Cup Qualifier and state championships in motor racing.
The Warwick District Sporting Car Club boasts a 3km circuit track and conducts motor sport events every weekend of the year.
The Warwick District Drag Racing Association has developed a 200m drag strip with a 550m secondary breaking area; while the Warwick and District Dirt Bike Club have built a motocross track with large pit areas.
The Morgan Park Resource Reserve is a birdwatchers paradise with over 20 species of birds including quails, ducks, raptors, needletails, kingfishers, fairy-wrens, honeyeaters, parrots and many more.
