Council Information Sessions

Council Information Sessions can be any of the following.

Training sessions to build Councillor skills and knowledge
Strategic planning workshops
Briefing sessions on matters that are to be brought before Council
Information sessions to provide Councillors with project updates and the results of community engagement

No debate, decision-making or voting takes place at these meetings.

Council will constantly evaluate whether these sessions can be made open to the public and will do so whenever possible.
