Citizen of the Year Awards

Southern Downs Regional Council will recognise the achievements and community contributions of residents at the Citizen of the Year Awards on Australia Day on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

The awards will be presented to the winners at a civic event on Australia Day. People who have made noteworthy contributions during the previous year and/or given outstanding service to the Southern Downs community over a number of years are eligible to be nominated.
