Register your own clean up
Over one million Australians volunteer for Clean Up Australia Day each year.
Creating a Clean Up is a great way to make a difference for our environment any day of the year!
Register or join a clean-up site with family, friends, colleagues or your community group. Site supervisors will receive a free kit containing bags, gloves, information, and promotional materials - just be sure to register by 16 February 2024.
By volunteering, you will raise awareness of littering and illegal dumping and the impact it has on our environment.
Share your Clean Up community pics to go in the draw to win 1 of 3 Southern Downs Eco Prize Packs! To enter, post your photo on social media using #MySDRC or email your pics to communityservices@sdrc.qld.gov.au.
Join Council's Community Event
After you've completed your Clean Up, head to Warwick's Leslie Park to join Council's FREE community event!
When: Sunday 3 March | 10am - 12pm
Where: Youth Stage on Albert Street - Leslie Park, Warwick
Enjoy live music and the Nice Cream van with a BBQ available for purchase. Council's community development team will also be running some Clean Up inspired waste education games for kids!
