As many people begin to take a proactive approach to personal hygiene and social distancing surrounding COVID-19, Southern Downs Regional Council wishes to remind residents that many of its services are available online and can be accessed from the comforts of home.
Council’s website www.sdrc.qld.gov.au offers the following services:
- pay rates, invoices, infringements, animals applications and plumbing applications
- submit customer service requests and complaints
- view property information (available to registered customer only)
- view planning applications submitted to Council
- access the latest Council news including minutes of the General Council Meetings and disaster alerts
Residents can also email Council at mail@sdrc.qld.gov.au with:
- general enquires
- complaints
- building applications – private certifiers
- various forms including dog registrations, change of address, food licenses
- remittance advices, rates payment agreements, direct debits and refunds
- water tank rebates, water testing and sampling
The My SDRC App is also a handy and free tool that allows users to:
- lodge customer requests
- track customer requests
- access the latest Council news and disaster alerts

While the libraries in Warwick,
Stanthorpe and Allora are closed, books and resources can still be accessed at www.southerndowns.spydus.com. Council libraries are investigating
how they might offer an alternative service during this time and information
will be available at the Southern Downs Regional Libraries Facebook
page.
Council has also created a COVID-19 portal located on the front page of its website at www.sdrc.qld.gov.au which provides a variety of useful links for residents.
Council wishes to encourage all residents to stay up-to-date at all times via its website and the MY SDRC App.
