Southern Downs Regional Council would like to advise that on Monday the 3rd of August a maintenance grade will be performed on the Condamine River Road for the entirety of the road.
We would like to reassure the community that no works will be undertaken within the crossings; or in the water ways, only the road surface between the crossings will be included.
The Condamine River Road has received an increased amount of visitor traffic during COVID-19, which, coupled with some wet weather, has caused quicker wear and tear. As a result, Council needs to undertake some routine maintenance works to ensure the quality of the road for residents and visitors.
Residents may see an increased number of heavy vehicles and temporarily increased traffic.
Additionally, as a number of our turn around locations are currently blocked by logs and rocks workers will need to turn around in some driveways.
