Dalrymple Creek Road Dam Break

As at 10:00am on Sunday 16 February, dam inspectors on site have identified that the water is continuing to flow in a controlled manner from the dam. At this point in time there are still concern surround the failure of the dam wall. The dam is currently estimated to be at approximately 75% capacity. Residents are advised to please remain out of the area until Queensland Police advise the PSPA is lifted.

Evacuees who have not received contact from Southern Downs Regional Council are asked to phone 1300 697 372 for further information. Southern Downs Regional Council are continuing to work with Queensland Police Services to manage the situation.
